Which leads to mental illness in China, the prevalence of straight up, situation is very serious. Mental illness is a special group, they have a "mental illness" the discrimination of social tagging, social discrimination and exclusion and even abandoned,especiallylong-term psychiatric inpatients who are forgotten group, they live in a normalsociety completely off the festival in the world, by the world misunderstanding and rejection. This special group, not only bear the physical and mentalsuffering, but also under tremendous pressure on the social. The lack ofsocial support network of long-term psychiatric inpatients of the harm, a serious social problem has become. Social support network is of great significance for the improvement of mental illnessrehabilitation and return to society.Based on the Hohhot city mental hospital administration system under the long term hospitalized psychiatric patients as the research object of service,social support and social resources can obtain long-term psychiatric inpatients were very low, due to the special nature of the disease, the patientand the surrounding people suffer the long suffering and great socialpressure. The p atient’s body to reduce and weaken the social support,rehabilitation is not optimistic; social groups of psychiatric patients should be given more understanding, tolerant, caring and attention.Based on analysis of the study found that long-term hospitalization needs and social support of the characteristics and changes of psychiatric patients;analyzes the influencing factors of social support, to develop social workintervention strategies, explore and promote long-term hospitalized psychopath rehabilitation mode, in order to social work in the rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders in the process intervention to provide theoretical guidance and practical experience.
