The Social Work Intervention On Family Rehabilitation In Psychiatric Patients

At present,Chinahas more than 16 million people in patients with severe mental illness.As a serious mental illness,schizophrenia's treatment in China was only 30%.Schizophrenia,which is chronic disease,in the process of its rehabilitation therapy,not only brought physiological and psychological burden to the patient,but also brought the economic burden and psychological pressure to the family members of patients,and may even cause family "broken".The rehabilitation treatment of mental illness patients needs to focus on integrity and systemic,patients were cured in specialized hospitals and institutions,and ultimately return to the family,so we should payattentionto the patient's familyrehabilitationtreatment.However,the literature review shows that is a great shortage of the related literature research.This article takes the family system of the rural middle aged mental disease patients as the intervention angle of view,as middle-aged spirit split syndrome patients for the case main,help patients that in hospital rehabilitation treatment process improve his behavior,acquisition life skills,for his return family;concern patients and family's relationship and interactive situation,look for family's significant others to solve the family problem which may help patients return to family;guide the family memberadjustmentthemselves of psychological health status,improve the family's rehabilitation quality;mediation the interaction between the patients andhis wife,sister of the patients,to help them master the rehabilitation knowledge and considerations so that they will become the supporters and "Family Rehabilitation Division";guide patient's wife pay attention to his son's mental health,avoiding the repetitionofhisfather's way.Through the analysis of the intervention process,found that rural midlife man plays a "pillar" role in the family,suffering from chronic schizophrenia makes his family face greater economic pressure,mental stress,families will be more likely to be "fragmented".During the intervention process,how to let people in rural areas accept,trust social workers,and integration into complex family systems is a major challenge.During the way of intervene,thesocial worker how to combine professional approach with customs in rural areas is another major challenge.During the intervention process,significant others of the family can make interventions more effective,help social workers mediate some family contradictions which "outsiders" cannot;find resources for patients and families,guide their initiative to capitalize the resources that can enhance their ability to face and solve the problem.Meanwhile,social workers have to be concerned with patients ' families because of stigma and long-term care pressures and the emergence of mental health problems,help families solve their psychological problems,enhance the resilience of the patients ' families,so as to improve the quality of home rehabilitation in the future.In addition,social workers should also be aware of schizophrenia genetic and social factors,predictively guide patients and his wife to pay attention to their son's mental health problems at an early stage and do positive guidance,enabling him to a healthy life,get rid of genetic effects that mental illness may occur.
