Practical Research On Vocational Rehabilitation Of Mental Disorder Patients From The Perspective Of Social Support

With the promulgation of Mental Health Act,a large quantity of patients with mental disorders have returned to their community for rehabilitation treatment.Influenced by factors including lack of policy support,the unsound vocational education system,low participation enthusiasm of enterprise,and insufficient employment skills of patients with mental disorders,a majority of the patients in the employment age cannot find jobs due to lack of support.Based on the employment support project of patients with mental disorders and the theory of social support,this paper takes the patients with mental disorders participating in the projects as the service object to have a comprehensive understanding of the employment needs,their current situation and difficulties of the patients with mental disorders through a combination of qualitative researches such as participation in project service,observation,interview,questionnaires and quantitative methods;the service method of social work is applied to conduct professional rehabilitation practical activities for patients with mental disorders to enrich their professional experience and improve the employment rate.On that basis,this paper analyzes the service strategy,effectiveness and mode of social work intervention in the occupational rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders,and deeply explores how should social work build and utilize the formal and informal support network to promote the occupational rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders.Based on the analysis of the current situation and needs of patients with mental disorders and through case studies of social work,group work and community work mode,the effects of social work intervention in the occupational rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders from the perspective of social support theory are as follows:(1)Improve the self-support for patients with mental disorders;(2)Strengthen the family support for patients with mental disorder;(3)Expanded professional support for patients with mental disorders;(4)Enhance the social support for patients with mental disorders.Based on the research conclusion and reflection,this paper proposes the following suggestions including improving the occupational rehabilitation model of mental disorder patients,strengthen the construction of social work talent team in the mental health field.
