The curriculum standard is a highlight of the eighth basic education curriculum reform of our country. The key to standard-based education is to improve teachers’ awareness and competence on the basis of the curriculum standard.The research takes standard-based education as the theoretical base, uses physics teaching designs of Senior High School as its carriers. According to individual experiences, questionnaires, interviews, and teaching plans, the research is carried out and the main conclusions are as follows:The standard-based education focuses on the theory of teachers’ teaching behavior instead of just a teaching method. It pays more attention to student’s all-round development and outcomes, and it is the process of assessment and teaching.Through the integrated system of three-dimensional target, the design makes learning objectives come from the curriculum standard. When specific operation is performed, it is carried out according to the following steps: deconstruct contents of the standard curriculum to form teaching contents-analyze teaching tasks to form the learning objectives of three-dimensional target-design a plan, evaluate it and optimize the teaching process according to the learning objectives.The content and method of evaluation in physics teaching design based on the curriculum standard is designed individually. Class teaching design and learning evaluation influence each other. In senior physics teaching, there are many laws and theorems firmly related to experiments. Thus, the development of the objective evaluation and performance evaluation should be paid attention to and some evaluation forms also should be used to assess students’ ability. Effective assessment can be a tool to promote students’ study and play an important role in study supervision, learning guide and encouragement.Standard-based evaluation forms not only provide some references for the designer but also is the basis of evaluating a physics teaching design.Standard-based physics teaching design can outstand the central position of the students, help students study the knowledge and skills on physics, make students have a better understanding of the physical concepts, and develop the student’s research ability, which can shorten the distance between physics, classes, society, life, science and technology.It is necessary for physics teaching in senior high school to form a teaching model based on the curriculum standard, for it will lead physics teachers to attach importance to the standard, to do some research on standard-based education and to help students evaluate their study. Then teaching enforcement will fully agree with the curriculum standard, which can optimize the teaching continuously and improve the teaching effect.
