Parenting and education, morality is the most important.As a kind important way of developing, shaping and encouraging people to be more better, moral education is the highest goal of education, also affects the future of a country and nation.Since ancient times,Vietnam have attached great importance to morality and moral education.In recent years, especially since the Doi moi, Vietnam implements the education reform, adjust the education policy, increasingly attach importance to the role of moral education,has made a certain development in this field, trained a large number of high-quality talents for Vietnam socialist construction. However, some problems and challenges were encountered in the development of the school moral education at the same time. In order to train integrated development of Vietnamese citizens, the Vietnamese government has paid constant efforts in exploring a way to development, and achieved some achievements.China and Vietnam are close neighbors, sharing the same society system and related culture. Both countries have attached great importance to moral education, and there are a lot of similarities.With the normalization of relations and the establishment of the ASEAN Free Trade Area, China and Vietnam have established close educational partnership.And with the more educational cooperation, Vietnam has also faced the similar problems and challenges in the development of school moral education like China. So choosing Vietnam as the research object can provides certain reference and enlightenment for the school moral education development in our country, which for the two countries in the field of ascending development has important significance.This paper attempts to set contemporary school education of Vietnam as research object, mainly relying on literature collect the latest information about the Vietnamese school moral education system and the relevant laws and regulations of the school moral education in Vietnam were analyzed deeply. What’s more, some moral education reports issued by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam or UNESCO were also been performed systematically. On this basis, this paper adopts comparative research, draw lessons from the Vietnamese school moral education and put forward some suggestions to the development of the school moral education of our country.Specially speaking, this thesis is composed as follows:Chapter one is the introduction, which mainly discusses the source of the topic, research purpose and meaning, current research review, defining the core concepts and ideas and methods of this study.Chapter two analyzes the historical evolution of school moral education in Vietnam,which includes four stages:feudal society, the French colonial period, the period of democratic unity and the period of socialist republic. According to the historical time and age characteristics, this paper gives a detailed explanation of the social mainstream moral thinking and moral education of each stage.Chapter three introduces the present development situation of the contemporary school moral education in Vietnam in detail. Based on the introduction of the theoretical basis of school moral education in Vietnam,it mainly from the four stages of kindergarten, primary, secondary, university to respectively investigates the Vietnamese contemporary school moral education,including moral educational goal, content, implementation approaches, methods and evaluation,etc.Chapter four, on the basis of the introduction of Vietnamese school moral education present situation,gives a comprehensive evaluation of school moral education in Vietnam, summarized the characteristics and noted the deficiencies. Such deficiencies included unscientific curriculum set, single and simple textbook and teaching method, weak teachers, the negative impact of the market economy and so on, which had restricted the further development of the Vietnamese school moral education. At the same time, in view of these deficiencies, this paper puts forward the future task of Vietnamese school moral education for further development.Chapter five summarizes the thesis. Standing from the perspective of comparison and reference,on the basis of the characteristics and problems in Vietnamese school moral education and combining with the actual situation in our country,puts forward some suggestions as follow.Firstly is increasing national support, attaches great importance to the school moral education;secondly,take the student as the center, improving the moral education system;the third is based on the traditional culture, paying more attention to the national spirit;fourthly, keep up with the times,cultivating modern citizens;fifth is to strengthen the construction of the theory,enhancing the effectiveness of moral education;then,to improve teachers’ treatment and cultivate high quality teachers;lastly,building school, family and society philosophy interlinked pattern of moral education.
