Therefore, we meet in the old people’s material demand at the same time, more attention to and pay attention to the spiritual needs of the elderly. This paper focuses on the psychological problems of the elderly, for families with problems, such as: depression, widowed, psychological problems seriously ill elderly and children in the family of professional counseling, from this point of view, more conducive to help the elderly psychological counseling, help improve the effectiveness of social work, is a focus on the actual operation of the the subject, in the form of an interview service can not only help to reduce and prevent aging, the elderly psychological problems, but also to explore the field according to the old people’s home environment, religion, and other aspects of effective communication.In this paper, through the questionnaire, interview, hypnosis therapy etc. the case method, the client and the client’s family are necessary for data collection, combined with the policy, starting from the perspective of social workers, the use of professional knowledge and skills of community elderly people from distributing the questionnaire, with clients in the community’s neighborhood committee staff with the help of the successful case, establish a good relationship based, the author together with the client the design goals, to intervene in the case the main problem and fix the problem, solve the problem of evaluation, finally closing. In this case summary, analysis of how to present the elderly depression, including their own psychological, family, neighborhood and other reasons, to explore the social workers how to solve the corresponding problem to solve in life, relevant suggestions and methods geriatric depression is good.
