With the comprehensively promotion of quality education and the deepening reform of higher education, the traditional education philosophy has changed. The guiding ideology of People-oriented and Health First, the teaching philosophy of individualized quality education, fully reflecting the dominant position of students, more respecting the personality development of students, focusing on the comprehensive quality training of students,such as innovative spirit,practical ability and so on.Research of this paper is background for the teaching reform of college physical education, and to learn the theory and empirical research the task-driven teaching method from some of the experts and scholars. Making the task-driven teaching method to apply in the teaching practice of College Sports Volleyball option. Proceeding the application experiments between conventional teaching method and task-driven teaching method. Analyzing contrastively the teaching effectiveness. Exploring the applied feasibility and effectiveness of the task-driven teaching method in College Sports volleyball elective course.According to the study I need use literature, research questionnaire, expert interviews, teaching experiments, mathematical statistics and other methods. randomly selected two volleyball option classes 60 students who are the 2014 Northeast Normal University for a period of 16 weeks, 32 hours of teaching experiments. Conclusions are as follow.1.Task-driven teaching method relative to the conventional teaching method can help students to improve the level of technical skills of volleyball, theoretical knowledge and the ability of using combat technology. But There are no significant effect on the special qualities of students.2.Task-driven teaching method can foster the subjectivity of students,inspire students motivation, cultivate interest in learning, correct attitude towards learning.It can fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of students to help improve teaching effectiveness3.Task-driven teaching method can create a creative learning environment more effectively, help improve students the abilities to identify problems and solve problems,to cultivate the cooperative awareness and sense of competition of student, improve interpersonal skills and team cohesion.
