China’s macroeconomic slowdown in the current economic restructuring and upgrading of the new normal background, both sports industry with its social effects and economic effects of the unique advantages of the industry, has been recognized by the social dimension and importance at the national level. Develop the sports industry, not only help to meet people’s diverse physical needs, protect and improve people’s livelihood, but also to effectively expand domestic demand, increase employment, and foster new economic growth point. Sport Performance Industry is the main industry of the sports industry, belongs to the category of sports services, the sports industry has always been the focus of attention lies. Of Sport Performance Industry along with the reform movement in the 1990s project management system evolved, the development process has been facing low socialization and industrialization degree. With the advance of sports management system reform in recent years, a growing number of sports organizations managers learn from the successful experience of European countries professional events, try to market-oriented operation mechanism of events and promotion of commercial operation. In this context, sports marketing, sports management becomes one of the essential content, and marketing strategy for sports development and research has been theoretical sessions and practical sessions attention.This paper uses literature, field and logic analysis, Wuhan Open marketing strategy for the study, based on sports marketing strategies, combing theory, a study of Wuhan Open faced macro and micro marketing environment background, in-depth analysis of specific Wuhan Open marketing strategy, analyze its beneficial enlightenment and lack of experience, and strive to provide the actual reference marketing strategy for Wuhan China Open and the marketing practices of other sporting events.
