Under the present background of omnimedia and new media,the development of scienc e and technology has brought people a full range of innovation and hope,cell media as a new one which breaks through the define of traditional media,it not only has the traditional functio n of text messages and phone calls,but also reveals the characteristics of mobile communicati on,which is more individual, effective, interactive and flexible,which offering audience a conv enient news service platform.But as the pillar industry of media,the sports media industry,whi ch contains sports news,games, gambling and sports events,is now using the help of huge infl uence of mobile platform,and combining sports communication with cell media effectively,w hich enriches the audience’s ways of receiving sports resources and meets the audience’s dema nds of watching all kinds of sports events.From the early stages of development,the cell media always maintained a compact and i ntegral link with sports communication. In recent years,with rapid development of the 3G & 4 G network technology and the widely use of APP on cell phone,the diversified communicatio n ways of cell media has deeply rooted in the sports lovers,and the available of WIFI TV has even pushed cell media and sports events communication into a new climax.Meanwhile,the ce 11 media has brought a certain social and economic benefits for its own by reporting sports eve nts,and conversely,the sports has expanded its influence through this effective communication platform—cell media,which realized the mutual benefit.This paper researches the current situ ation of sports communication by cell media,analys and discusses on aspects of the audience, characteristics and contents of sports communication by cell media,and then points out the def iciency existing in the development for further solution.
