At present, our country strong proponent of higher vocational education reform under the background of the relationship between the development of vocational colleges its core competence getting closer. Nurture and enhance the core competitiveness of vocational colleges is not only related to the events of life and death itself vocational colleges, saying from the macro, both related to the promotion of national comprehensive strength and international competitiveness, but also a national training personnel and strengthen the basis of national innovation capabilities. Core competitiveness is the core of vocational colleges of higher vocational education development strategy, can indicate the direction of educational ideas vocational colleges, vocational colleges can make all sort out development, scientific orientation, establish the concept of scientific development. It can be said core competence is in contradiction to the theory of vocational colleges has brought new inspiration and ideas.This paper discusses the importance of the content of the core competitiveness of the current study vocational colleges and urgency, review the basic ideas about the core competitiveness of enterprises at home and abroad and core competitiveness university six chapters, the first chapter, to develop specific herein research ideas, research methods and the study of specific content. The second chapter through a large collection, and analysis related to the literature on the theory of core competence and monographs, discusses the theoretical basis of higher vocational education and core competencies of vocational colleges. The third chapter, analyzed and studied abroad for different modes of evaluation used by colleges, universities evaluation system core competencies approach, as well as domestic research institutions in recent years, some colleges and universities during the evaluation ranking, used. The fourth chapter is on this basis, following the combining scientific and operational principles and guidance, the evaluation index system selection, design and build a set that contains two level indicators, five secondary indicators and evaluation system 14 three indicators. Chapter V established by factor analysis model, combined with relevant sample data for computing, to conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the results, validated for the establishment of core competitiveness evaluation index system in higher vocational colleges.
