Research On The Current Situation Of Music Education Of Hohhot Xilin South Road Primaiy School And Solutions

With the continuous improvement of the education for all-around development and the constant reinforcement of education reform in the contemporary society, art education has been taken seriously by family,school, the society and the nation. However, it must be clarified that our music education is still in the development stage with many unsolved problems, such as the unbalanced development of music education in different areas and the backwardness of music education compared with other subjects. There are still some crying out for concerns and solutions.This dissertation carries out analysis and research on the music education of Xilin South Road Primary School. The dissertation can be divided into four parts. The first part introduces the general situation of music education in Hohhot primary and secondary school from two aspects: the background of Xilin South Road Primary School and development of music education in Hohhot. The second part researches about the current situation of music education in Xilin South Road Primary School, from three aspects: school,teachers and students. The research is carried in the form of questionnaires,interviews with teachers and students to get the overall situation. The third part analyzes the statistics to summarize the problems. The fourth part proposes appropriate solutions in the following four aspects, to replace the old teaching philosophy, to build up the ranks of teachers, to optimize the facilities and equipment, and to make full use of music teachers.This dissertation researches on the current situation of music education of Hohhot Xilin South Road Primary School in the methods of questionnaires,interviews with teachers and school leaders, field survey, observation and so on. The research is faithful to the facts, all around and in depth. The research is on the music teachers’ professional skills and the quality cultivation,music lessons offered by the school, the infrastructure, teachingmanagement, extracurricular activities, etc. The dissertation analyzes the problems existing in the music classes of Hohhot Xilin South Road Primary School and their causes in the way of data processing and statistical analysis.Furthermore, the dissertation points out some solutions proper to the music education development of this school. In my personal view, the problem is a test, which can only be solved by the joint efforts of the school leaders,teachers and students. The music education will have a promising future by improving the teaching philosophy and teaching methods. To some degree,the research has directive significance to the music education of Hohhot Xilin South Road Primary School and hopefully can promote the music education of this school.There are quite a few similar researches, projects and dissertations on the current situation of music education of primary and secondary schools in various regions of our country. There are also a considerable part of the researches working out scientific and correct solutions to the primary and secondary school music education. However, there is no such literature research for the music education of Hohhot Xilin South Road Primary School. The dissertation is a pointed and specific research- it provides referable strategies for Xilin South Road Primary School and other primary and middle schools in Hohhot. This dissertation is not only expected to solve the problems of music education of Xilin South Road Primary School,but also expected to clear up the confusion of the music education of Hohhot primary and secondary schools. It also provides referable suggestions to each primary and secondary school of Hohhot and can lead the music education of primary and secondary schools in Hohhot to a new way.
