Self-efficacy refers to the individual of their ability to perform a behavior of speculation and judgment, which was proposed by Albert Bandura for the first time,a psychologist from Stanford University, in the 1970 s. The theory describes that people can bring the effect that produces the result of the behavior expectations, which could be more positive initiative to participate in the activities. Therefore, learners’ positive self-efficacy can produce beneficial effect on their learning results.English is the required course in high school, which has always attached great importance to the education of high school English discipline, hoping to improve high school students to learn English by using the method of specific performance.Learning difficulties are a special group in school, who have their own characteristics, especially in the aspect of subjective sense of themselves. However,Chinese is our mother tongue for Chinese students, the vast majority of people seldom use English to communicate, learn or work. And the dramatic differences English and Chinese make the low efficiency of Chinese high school students of English, which leads to a decline in their English learning self-efficacy. In reality, a lot of students with normal intelligence fall behind the others in the same grade, and they are called Learning Difficulties today. The high school students will fear to learn and have no confidence or interest in learning English if their English learning self-efficacy is low.And they will not have learning motivation, they will have poor performance in English. The learning difficulties form a special group in the school, and they have their own remarkable characteristics, especially in the aspect of subjective sense of themselves, and they had not reached the level of basic English andits curriculum standard request.
