With the rapid development of information and technology, micro-lecture, as a newborn teaching method, has come into the field of Education and has opened a new chapter for the innovation of learning pattern. Integrated with text, ba ckground music, pictures and so on, micro-lecture represents as micro-video, combining with instructional design, exercises, teaching reflection and other teaching elements into a resource pack which makes it possible that learner can study anywhere and anytime and has changed the traditional teaching mode. Its characteristics lie in short time, low capacity; concise content, clear topic; easy share and available repeat, which has caused wide concern among education specialists, scholars and teachers. However, how to design, develop and apply micro-lecture remains a hot and difficulty issue. Accordingly, the writer has studied on these problems in detail. The paper can be divided into 6 parts as follows:The first part has introduced the background, significance, thoughts and methods of this study and relevant literature domestic and abroad. The writer puts forward some relevant views based on those theoretical basis.The second part has list some hot concepts of “micro-lecture”. Basing on the analysis and comparison among them, the writer puts forward her opinion of it. In addition, this part summarizes the characteristics and relevant theoretical basis of micro-lecture.The third part has analyzed the pupils’ characteristics by using the “Mind Manager” to sort out the key points of elementary mathematics textbook by People’s Education Press. At the same time it analyzes the possibility of introducing micro-lecture into Mathematics. Then, it has proposed three design principles in the process of preparing for the micro-lecture.The forth part:this paper puts forward the design procedure, summarizes the cases combining with practice and introduces some methods of designing micro class in detail.The fifth part:The paper also has put forward the mode of micro class in application and has present the micro class cases using flip class mode in autonomous learning.The last part has made a conclusion, analyzing the shortcoming of this study and making expectations.
