Transition of English teaching in primary and secondary schools has a direct impact on small, primary English level, many students enter junior high school after learning English now, there is a big gap between the result and the primary school grades, this is mainly due to the small primary English teacher before and after the result of improper convergence. Therefore, how to do the work of linking small early stage, English teachers be imperative work goal is to improve teaching quality, which is not only beneficial to improve the students’enthusiasm of learning English, but also reduce the small early English achievement gap.This paper adopts a variety of research methods to explore the connection of English teaching at the beginning of the small, such as literature analysis, questionnaire and interview etc.. Among them, the Shenzhen Baoan District primary school and junior high school two schools were selected for the sixth grade students and students of the questionnaire, the study found that the first grade junior middle school students, when learning English, in the interest and emotional aspects of learning to adapt to, and there are some problems ability and autonomous learning. Junior high school students in learning English, to cultivate a strong interest in learning, have good learning habits and behavior, these effects are closely related to the degree of teaching English at the beginning of the small. Cohesion is not good there will be many problems in the interview, a number of small primary English teacher, was found to be mainly due to the low status of primary school English, teaching materials and teaching methods do not match, did not fully take into account the teaching object and the environmental impact of the result. So this is the research direction, methods are as follows:firstly, the corresponding solution to improve the English teaching status in primary school stage, and the primary school and junior middle school stage English textbook series; secondly, the teaching method and the quality of classroom English small early English teacher to improve, and take multiple ways to evaluate; at last, establish and perfect the small between the beginning English teachers are teaching communication mechanism, should also pay attention to the small beginning of students at this stage in addition to the connection problem of intelligence.This paper is mainly to discuss the connection between English small early, it can not only cause the teacher attaches great attention to the small early convergence problem, but also conducive to the English teachers in the teaching process to continuously improve quality, reduce the gap between the students in English at the beginning of the small, and has important significance to small early English teachers work the. Help students to study Xiaochu teachers theory of learning efficiency and the improvement of teaching quality; practice helps to strengthen the cohesion of curriculum research and development issues, but also caused a small beginning English teachers attention to cohesion work.
