| Drawing and thinking has the characteristics of image thinking and abstract thinking. It is a bridge to connect the image thinking with the abstract thinking, which plays an important role in improving the quality of senior students’ thinking and problem solving ability.First of all, the paper defines the concept of drawing and thinking based on consulting a large number of literature. It points out that, when solving physics problem, drawing and thinking refers to people through the highly abstract generalization to draw a picture according to the structural characteristics or the graphic relationship between time and space of physical objects and combine the various physical image characteristic of the physical meaning with symbols and mathematical knowledge to analysis and solve problems. Paper also summarized the application of drawing the general procedure to solve the problem of physical thinking, this program including the topic, to build image, association and induction, equation(or relation) settlement equation(or relation), discussion and reflection on five links.Secondly,the author adopt the way of questionnaire to survey the situation of high student using drawing and thinking to solve the problem of physical. The results show that the teachers and students is generally accepted that drawing and thinking is of great help to solve the physical problems, but students in using drawing and thinking to solve the problem of physical ability is not so optimistic. This problem results that teachers pay no attention to the development of the student’s ability of drawing, or don’t know how to do it. According to the status quo of high student applicating drawing and thinking to solve the problem of physical, analyze the problems and reasons, put forward the application drawing high student thinking strategies to solve the problem of physics, namely "give full play to the exemplary role of teachers, pay attention to the process of the construction of the physical image" and "specification problem solving steps, raises the student good drawing habit".Finally, by applying the above strategies in teaching practice, the author contrasts the experimental classes with the compared classes according to the fore-test and after-test results to prove the effectiveness of the strategies to improve the students’ ability of solving problems. In this study, the student of experimental class and comparative class are divided into three groups as the results of fore-test: top student, average student and poor student to compare different levels of student achievements. The results showed that the strategies can significantly improve the average and poor students’ ability of solving physics problems.The results of the paper would provide the reference for high school physics teacher training up students’ ability to solve problems with drawing and thinking. |
