Reading is to bridge students to ideas of human society. Classroom teaching in primary and secondary language most used in teaching reading, if there is no major improvement in the teaching of reading, writing, oral communication and integrated learning and other areas, very little opportunity to debut in the language classroom, even teaching literacy and writing will also be drag. Therefore, improving language curriculum and teaching, "reading" a bastion must be overcome. Read the contents can be divided into literary works, texts and papers in the reading material, the former focusing on the appreciation of reading; the latter focuses on reading comprehension, readers different purpose, treatment should also be changes in the way, so as to achieve better effect. Currently, junior secondary education with particular emphasis on the quality of teaching, but also increasingly standardized language papers proposition, also examine the direction and content of stability and change. Modern reading test is an effective way to detect students have language literacy and language control capabilities. In this study, students ’reading test case start, help control the level of students’ overall learning to read and understand the reasons for the differences between students are better able to find the current lack of teachers teaching reading real place. Therefore, the status quo concern modern reading test has an important impact on the teaching of reading, to enhance the level of professional development of teachers, to accelerate students’ reading ability, has important theoretical and practical significance.In this study, starting with modern reading test analysis to proceed, consult the "Compulsory Education curriculum standards(2011 edition)" and Xinxiang City in 2014 "Exam" reading evaluation and testing requirements, and then analyzed the reading test material and propositions features as well as the problems, then the direction of the transformation of the reading test were analyzed. Based on the reading test material, after the proposition analysis, and then through questionnaires, interviews, etc. analyze the situation of the students modern reading exist, with the paper analysis to gain insight into what the lack of ability of the students concrete existence, then for the existing problems propose effective coping strategies for teachers, it should be based on its own analysis of the text and how to guide students to master analytical methods; for students to have their own reading experience and how to master the subject to deal with reading comprehension skills and methods. In order to be able to guide the majority of language teachers more scientific, improve their system of teaching reading deficiencies exist, so that students get a solid reading methods.
