With the developments of education informatization information technology, media usedin classroom teaching are changing. For integrated advantages of multimedia computer andthe traditional blackboard, interactive electronic whiteboard instead slides to be themainstream of the classroom teaching informationization. However, there manydisadvantages in applications of the interactive electronic whiteboard and deeply researchesare needed.This research mainly adopts literature retrieval method, questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method, interview method. Firstly, on the basis of collecting andreading related literature to understand the background, significance, and the use oftheoretical foundation of interactive electronic whiteboard application in classroom teaching.Then via questionnaire investigation and interview method to investigate the problems andanalyze the influencing factors.The results shown that in teachers, they are easy to fall into the "PPT+blackboard" oldinstructional strategies and new functions of interactive electronic whiteboard are could not beapplied. So the application and widely used of the new technique are hit. For students, theyknown little about manipulations of the interactive electronic whiteboard and can’t interactwith teachers by it. In the aspect of hardware, it is not sensitive enough and its positioning isnot that accurate, what’s more, two or more people can’t operate it at the same time. In theaspect of software, limited library resources and the software glitch also restricted theapplication of interactive electronic whiteboard in junior high school biology teaching. Focuson the results of the survey, the author discussed four aspects of hardware and software forinteractive electronic whiteboard: carry out the education training, rich interactive electronicwhiteboard repository, build the interactive electronic whiteboard biology resource sites andstrengthen innovation in better serve teaching provides the feasible suggestions.Finally, the author wrote two parts to discuss teaching application. The first part,combining the characteristics of biology and the specific function of interactive electronicwhiteboard, through classroom teaching fragment enumerate the function of interactiveelectronic whiteboard. In the second part shows the two cases of complete design ofclassroom teaching, demonstration for junior high school biology teaching.
