| The18th-century Europe turned around completely under the Enlightenment Movement. The rapid development of economy had fulfilled people’s material desire and left the spiritual life behind. Therefore the artists’ sense of social value was reducing. As the social existence of artists became weaken, as the individual, life had lost its worth. Today, when people mentioned Mozart, his reputation was the symbol of the most pleasant artistic creation. This is because the audiences are addicted to his music and ignore his miserable life, and this makes the sympathy become superficial. The artists used to serve in government, and can’t get used to the new cultural market. Some of them even had problems on Food and clothing and the impact of multi-culture. This is similar to the life of artists in18th-century Europe. Some artists failed to make the transition along with the society, and end in negative results. These kind of cases were called the’Mozart’s problem’.Nowadays China is in social transformation, the reform of cultural system has equally affected both the individual and social value of the artists. Since1992, the14th Congress of the Communist Party of China had confirmed the goal of establishing a socialist market economy. Over the next two decades, the rapid development of Chinese market economy laid the foundation of cultural development and made it more dynamic. The seventh session of the Sixth Plenary Session of2011had passed the’The CPC Central Committee’s decision of a number of major issues on deepening cultural system reform, prodding socialistic culture to be in great development and prosperity’. This decision was the framework document of deepening cultural system reform during this period. Government had launched a nationwide cultural units’ transformation into enterprises under the policy of ’Distinguish cultural construction as cultural cause and industry, define government-based cultural cause and Market-based cultural industry’. The government had introduced’Cultural market comprehensive measures for the administration’(No.52clause in Ministry of Culture), which was completed both in precondition and behavior of the law-executors. Whereas this clause only ensured the order of cultural market, the individual development of the artists was left without concern. Through social theoretical models of Parsons’Cultural dimension mould, Elias’sociology of figuration, social psychology, social role play, and the like.This thesis will do comparative research with the transition completed JX province opera troupe and the transition failure of Mozart. Faced with these Chinese’Mozart’s problem’, the author suggests to start with the following four aspects, cultural markets, Individual capacity building, receiver and education, to offer a set of lessons for how the artists could survival in China’s reform and play a small part to reduce the’Mozart’s problem’ in China. |
