In recent years, with the development of education in China, the improvement of quality education increasingly attracted the attention of people, and lots of quality education bases for primary and secondary school students have been established all over China. Mentougou District Zhaitang Revolutionary Tradition Education Base in Beijing regards revolutionary tradition education as the theme, relies on the education resources in the locality, such as the history exhibition of local Anti-Japanese War, the former site of army headquarters, the monument to the martyrs, and so on, and shows a large number of pictures, text information and objects, to educate primary and secondary school students, strengthen their identity and confidence of the excellent national culture and spirit, inspire their national spirit, concentrate the strength of the Chinese nation, and reveal the social benefit.This paper takes Mentougou District Zhaitang Revolutionary Tradition Education Base in Beijing as an example, makes a research on the educational practice of quality educational base.This paper is focused on the development of Quality Education Basesin Mentougou District, which is divided into three stages of development:the initial construction stage, the independent development stage and the standardized development stage. On this basis, this paper analyzed the present situation of Mentougou District ZhaitangRevolutionary Tradition Education Base, and concluded the problems of construction using the method of questionnaire survey. The problems are mainly about infrastructure facilities, curriculum construction, teachers and some other aspects.From internal basis and external conditions of Zhaitang Revolutionary Tradition Education Base, this paper put forward some countermeasures for the improvement of the construction. The countermeasures for the improvement of internal basis include the following aspects:collect historical data and enrich education content, improve education methods and optimize education technique, strengthen interaction and increase education activity, upgrade internal management and ensure orderly operation, specify self-positioning and maximize social benefit. The countermeasures for the improvement of external conditions include the following aspects:the government departments pay more attention to the construction of quality education bases, increase investment and supervision, make full use of modern techniques and create a better social environment for the development of quality education bases.
