The Chinese teaching in the mainstreams of the Philippines, represented by the public high schools, who is under the "special program of foreign language" proposed by the Department of Education of the Philippines, is booming. During the rapid development, those public high schools pay more attention to the YCT test, and less attention to the achievement test, which is proved to have a closer relationship with specific Chinese teaching. This paper choose the second batch of those public high schools as the representatives to investigate the status of the achievement test of Chinese as a foreign language in those public high schools. Guided by the modern concept of validity, we collect their achievement test papers, and use the SPSS software to verify their validity form3different aspects, including:test structure, reliability and test content. This paper aims to find the existed problems and give some advices for solution from the test itself as well as the exam affairs management.
