With the development of network communication technology and update, great changes have taken place in people’s study, life, work etc.. In various forms, very practical interactive platform and communication, such as chat rooms, forums, blogs and BBS network, form a community in the virtual network world, let more and more people are connected to the network in the virtual community. Since1993, Regal Eid proposed virtual community (Virtual community) definition since, scholars from all walks of life very much on the study of virtual communities, the emphases of research, will get different research conclusions.This study was carried out in a rural middle school in Enshi, the author designed experiments to study the application of virtual communities in mathematics teaching in rural junior middle school teaching effect, the experimental data are collected and analyzed, the conclusion. Interview three ways of achievement test, questionnaire, experimental data are obtained, and made analysis on the experimental data, using the mathematical statistics method.This paper consists of four chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, to the research background, research significance, research status, research objectives, research contents and research methods are described. The second chapter is introduction explaining the concept of virtual community, virtual community, to sum up the characteristics of virtual community, several typical. The third chapter studies the application of virtual communities in the rural junior middle school mathematics classroom teaching, first discusses the virtual community and rural junior middle school mathematics fusion principles should be followed, and then design the experiment to explore the teaching effect of application of virtual communities in rural junior mathematics teaching. Interview three ways of achievement test, questionnaire, experimental data are obtained, and made analysis on the experimental data by using mathematical statistics method, the conclusion. The fourth chapter is the summary and Prospect of this research, are summarized, and the shortcomings of this study are analyzed, finally the future research is prospected.In this study, the author use many kinds of methods to explore the application of virtual communities in rural junior mathematics teaching effect. First, by using the methods of literature analysis, this topic is determined by reading a lot of literature, and the related concepts and theories are analyzed. Then using the method of experimental study, project research design experiment. Statistical experimental data, draw a conclusion. Finally, the use of research method, design the questionnaire, the interview part of students, to explore the outside except learning achievement, teaching in virtual community brings different effect.This study for the application of virtual communities in the junior middle school mathematics classroom teaching has very strong pertinence, the following practical significance:(1) the application of virtual community in the junior middle school mathematics classroom teaching is feasible, the teaching reform of now can play a positive effect;(2) reveal the benefit of classroom teaching in virtual community advantages.
