PurposesThe doctor-patient conflicts were escalating in recent years. Statistics from Ministry of Public Health of China showed:Malignant doctor-patient conflicts on rise year by year, for example,9831jeopardizing medical order cases happen in2006and resulted in over two hundred million RMB property damage. A "Case abridged editions of malignant doctor-patient conflict for years Chinese" was released by DXY website On March24,2012, which summarized124malignant doctor-patient conflict ranges from2000to July2009according to public reports. According to the incomplete statistics from DXY website, ten killing the medical staff cases just happened in2011; and3cases included a malignant doctor-patient conflict from First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University happened in March2012; thirteen attacking doctor cases including Wenling attacking doctor case that resulted in a killed and2injured taken place in the first half of2013. What will the impact in Medical students’psychological be induced by gradually serious doctor-patient conflicts? Will the conflicts affect their future professional ethics? Now medico psychological changes and strengthening moral education were studied in this study in the doctor-patient conflict context to those questions. MethodsModel doctor-patient conflicts cases were firstly collected ranged from January2009to March2014, then characteristic and cause of these cases were analyzed and summarized into a questionnaire "The view of medical students on doctor-patient conflicts". The questionnaire was available to clinical medical and nursing students from sophomore year students of seven colleges in Shandong province who frequently contact with patients in the future to understand their psychological changes facing doctor-patient conflicts. In the meantime, another questionnaire "Evaluation index of college students’ moral education" including a hundred evaluation points that was written in2013by Yuanjun Zheng et al. also available to967clinical medical and nursing students from junior year students of seven colleges in Shandong province to understand their moral education. Finally, moral education changes caused by doctor-patient conflicts were analyzed via studied twice survey data and then presented countermeasures.Results and DisscusionThe results form982valid questionnaires showed that medical students in state-run college focus more on doctor-patient conflicts than those in civilian-run college, however, they have the same opinion on terms of doctor-patient interactions, responsibility and medical technique that can result in doctor-patient conflicts. Most of the students considered that the patient is major factor resulting in conflicts. The above data showed medical students can understand the cause of conflicts. In terms of moral education, doctor-patient conflicts induced some changes, for example, occupational confused,"Three Outlooks" changes, lack of defiance and lack of legal concept. Aimed at medical students’ psychological and moral education changes, some countermeasures were presented, for example, typical case is introduced into classroom through building conflicts case teaching database; adjusting students’moral education via analyzing conflicts cause and providing solutions; reforming teaching system and creating favorable moral education environment.
