Research purposes: the middle school students as the hope and future of the country,is a potential power and the reserve force of social development, not only should have therich scientific and cultural knowledge and good moral character, more should have a strongbody. This article through to the present conditions of urban and rural middle schoolstudents’ physical fitness and sports exercise and the influence factors of comparativeresearch, to discover problems, to further improve the level of suzhou city middle schoolstudents body providing effective Suggestions.Research methods: this article mainly the literature material law, questionnaire surveymethod, interview method, such as research methods, a random sample of suzhou city,suzhou city of middle school middle school), grass bridge township, south of pontoonbridge middle school, high school junior high school (the first,2, and3) of1200male andfemale students (50people/x2kinds of gender) x3x4grade school, physical educationteachers37people as the object of investigation. By comparing the city and thecountryside junior middle school students body shape (height, weight, body function, vitalcapacity, vital capacity, body mass index) and physical (50meters, standing long jump,800m and1000m, grip strength, grip strength index and weight ZuoWeiTi proneness)such as indicators, and through the questionnaire investigation and analysis the presentsituation of the urban and rural middle school students to participate in physical exerciseand its influencing factors.Results:1, with the grade growth: suzhou urban and rural junior high school boys andgirls height, weight, lung capacity,50meters, standing long jump, and grip strength is onthe rise; City, township boys vital capacity weight index,1000meters, grip strength, body mass index and basic ZuoWeiTi proneness is on the rise; Girl’s lung capacity weight index,800meters, basic is on the decline. City girl grip weight index showed a trend of declineafter rising first, and the rural girl is on the decline; City boys ZuoWeiTi proneness basicon the rise, along with the grade growth and urban basic falling girls; Rural male andfemale ZuoWeiTi proneness with grade basic first after falling and rising. BesidesZuoWeiTi proneness, other indicators each grade boys are better than girls. City of maleand female height, weight, vital capacity, vital capacity index weight better than the basicrural students, other indicators of country students basic better than city.2, urban and rural school most students like PE class, but the physical intensity issmall; Not willing to participate in the big recess activities, extracurricular physicalexercise time and times were less. Rural students participate in physical exercise time andthe number is greater than the city students. City schools, location equipment; Teachers’age, educational background, professional title structure is superior to the countryside; Cityschools and students’ parents thought of light body heavier than country; Urban students’parents do not support the number of students taking part in physical exercise than thecountryside.Research conclusion:1, suzhou urban and rural middle school students’ body formdevelopment situation is good, the city students height, weight, vital capacity and vitalcapacity index weight better than basic village, this may be related to city students livingconditions good growth and development in rural students. Rural basic better than citystudents’ physical quality, this may be related to city students study pressure big, lessinvolved in physical exercise, poor bear hardships and stand hard work spirit.2, urban and rural school physical education, intensity is small, it may be withteachers think students physical deterioration, vulnerable and cause dispute. Most studentsare not willing to take big recess activities, urban and rural areas may be associated withstudents’ lack of interest in calisthenics and winter long-distance running due to lack ofspace is very good organization.3, urban and rural students’ extracurricular physical exercise time and less, may berelated to the school sites, equipment cannot meet the need, the lack of PE teachers’guidance. Rural students participate in physical exercise is better than city, may becompared with urban schools and parents pay attention to the fame and graduation rates. Suggestion: school to firmly establish and adhere to the\"health first\" guidingideology, improve the mechanism of the school sports work, improve the quality ofphysical education teaching, not increase students’ homework, ensure that the students inphysical education and exercise time after class. Students should arrange study, life science,exercise time. Schools and parents should cultivate good habits of physical exercise and ahealthy lifestyle. School construction planning should fully consider the needs of the youthsports exercise facilities, public sports venues and sports facilities should be open to thesurrounding schools and students.
