Physical Education of school is an important component of the quality-education. All the sectors in China have always attached great importance to the school and sports activities. However, the long-term "test-education" seriously affects education and school sports can not give full play to their function. The recent research of students in the National Physical Fitness and Health shows that our young physical health status indicators a further downward trend. Therefore, we need to correctly understand and attach great importance to the school physical education. Due to the influence of various factors, there are serious differences between urban and rural areas in our school education. Chongqing is an area of prominent dual structure municipalities where rural population, the number of primary school students in rural areas and the total number of rural primary and secondary schools have a larger proportion. It is vital important to solve the problems which existed in Chongqing on the promotion of the development of basic education in rural areas. And it also can help promote the coordinated development of urban and rural education, achieving educational equity. Beibei is typical of the urban and rural structure, urban and rural development with the conditions. Beibei, Chongqing Municipality education as a co-coordinating the development of urban and rural areas demonstration pilot play a very good role mode, not only for the promotion of education conducive to Beibei,, but also for the whole of the Chongqing Municipal coordinating urban and rural development.This paper takes Beibei rural primary and secondary schools as the research object, using research methods, such as literature, interviews with experts, questionnaires. We focus on the status of the rural primary and secondary schools Physical Education in Beibei District, and conduct a survey and analysis to the small town centre of the village school sports teacher, the venue equipment, teaching physical education curriculum, extra-curricular activities, after-school training, physical education and other aspects of the management. The key point is objectively to understand the current status of physical education in primary and secondary schools in rural areas and urban and rural development, and to seize the opportunity, to make full use of local education resource advantages, and physical education in primary and secondary schools in rural areas to resolve the existing problems in the development of practical measures, and to find out the development of rural primary and secondary schools physical education in Beibei District.Through the research of the status of physical education in primary and secondary schools in Beibei District, there are some main problems we found as follows: urban and rural school physical education development is unbalanced, and there are all quite different, especially in rural school sports special funds less investment, not attention School sports work, in accordance with the requirements of a full physical education school, professional sports teacher shortages, low education, shortages of young teachers and the number of female teachers, substitute physical education teachers and more school sports venues and a serious lack of equipment, school physical education and extra-curricular sports activities carry out arbitrary strong, school leaders, teachers and students datum related to the understanding of physical education and other errors.
