When it comes to information times and knowledge times, we are all aware of that itsaim is to develop, for which talent is the key and education is the foundation. Universityserves not only as the base of high-tech research, but also the breeding place of senior talents.Its fruits including science, culture, graduates has been and will always be applied to society,synchronously boosting social development.Human resource takes the top place on resource list of Universities whose general purposeof human resource administration is to better its benefit. Actually, how to sustain competitiveedge has become a long-term problem for university management. Teacher managementtargeting to promote teachers’ enthusiasm, initiative and creativity is an important content inhuman resource administration. Thus, creating and implementing teacher incentivemechanism is meaningful to attracting excellent teachers and developing competitive edge.This article based upon foreign theory about incentive mechanism is to study teacherincentive in Xinjiang Agricultural University through analyzing current incentive statues,finding existing problems and corresponding reasons. The author began the work bydesigning a reasonable questionnaire, according to which the analysis has been done, andfinally put forward feasible suggestions.
