Premier Wen Jiabao pointed out that education, technology and talent is the cornerstone for the prosperity of country and the core of comprehensive national strength. We should give priority to develop education. Strong education can make businesses boom in every walk of life. Modernization of education is significant for achieving comprehensive modernization. At present, China has entered the popular stage of higher education, university teachers, whether in quantity or quality, can not meet the quality requirements of Higher Education. Therefore, the university must be based on the full development of resources on the basis of existing teachers, the introduction of the new teacher resources. In order to retain the outstanding teachers and attract more talented people to join the ranks of college teachers is to improve the teacher's enthusiasm and creativity. This requires that university teachers must be full and effective implementation of incentive to raise their work efficiency, enhance the university's educational benefits, thus promoting the development of higher education. Therefore, an effective incentive mechanism is important to attract talent and retain talented people.The research object of this paper is College Teachers and it based on the motivation theory as the theoretical basis, the research of college teachers as realistic basis, And it comprehensive use of management, management, psychology, behavior science and other research methods to study incentive mechanism in higher school teachers. Article expounds the concept and main motivation for incentive theory, provide theoretical basis for the research. Based on the development of colleges and universities, university teachers on teachers' demand situation and incentive mechanism and incentive factors, the author found out, the existing problems of the incentive mechanism of university teachers and demand characteristics of university teachers. On this basis, the author put forward the principles, contents and patterns the incentive mechanism of university teachers, as well as the basic incentive method of teachers and security system of the incentive mechanism.The research and achievements of this study have positive impact improvement in promoting the incentive mechanism of university teachers, and has certain practical significance to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and creativity, and the quality of higher education...
