As it is known, the aim of high vocational college is to train person to have highlevel operation skills, so the teaching quality of professional skill course is veryimportant for high vocational college development. To improve the teaching level ofprofessional skill course, it is necessary to strength the teaching evaluation ofprofessional skill course in high vocational college. In this paper, the problems in theteaching evaluation of professional skills courses in high vocational college of Chinawere dissected, several improvement countermeasures were put forward based oneffective teaching theory, which could provide some theoretical and practicalsignificances for developing high vocational education of China.The concept, theoretical basis, function, principle, type, content and method ofteaching evaluation for professional skill course in high vocational college have beenelaborated, as well as the concept, theoretical basis, feature, standard and principle ofeffective teaching.The present situation of teaching evaluation for professional skills courses inhigh vocational college of China has been analyzed, and the improvementcountermeasures have been put forward based on effective teaching theory. The mainproblems in teaching evaluation for professional skills courses in high vocationalcollege of China have been found by questionnaire survey, which include that theattention on the evaluation is not enough, the purpose of evaluation is not clear,evaluation method is not perfect, evaluation subject is not sound, the content ofevaluation is not reasonable and evaluation result is not well handled. Theimprovement measures have been proposed based on effective teaching theory, whichinclude that setting up perfect teaching evaluation system based on effective characterof effective teaching theory, making clear evaluation purpose based on objectiveprinciple of effective teaching theory, exploring effective evaluation method based ontargeted principle of effective teaching theory, establishing sound evaluation subjectmechanism based on comprehensive principle of effective teaching theory, designing effective evaluation indicator and content, establishing effective analysis mode forevaluation result and evaluation feedback mechanism and establishing effectiveinformation system for teaching evaluation of professional skill courses.At the end of the thesis, the problems emerged in teaching evaluation forprofessional skills courses in high vocational college of China and severalimprovement countermeasures have been summarized, and the future research on thisstudy has also been prospected.
