With the rapid development of knowledge economy era and Internet technologies, e-learning has become learning method that accepted by the majority of learners. Due to the efficient, free and convenient of the Internet, online learning has been recognized by most learners. For further development of Internet technology and people’s deeper understanding of online learning, online learning began to emerge out different learning styles. Among them, MOOC, starting from Canada in2008, and has been widely concerned by learners and researchers.MOOC course providers are mainly the Internet companies that develop large-scale of open network class. Their main business is to provide learners with a variety of online courses. MOOC learners are mainly people who registered MOOC courses, different MOOC platform has different design principle and method, this leads different learners have differences in engagement and learning performance. Therefore, on the basic problem of "how to improve MOOC learning performance", this study start from MOOC attribute, learners engagement, and learning performance to investigate different attributes that influences on learners engagement and learning performance.This research selects online learners as the research objects. Based on different learning characteristics, emphasize investigation on MOOC autonomy, diversity, and interaction, and based on learners engagement measurement method, divided learners engagement into three dimensions, they are behavior dimension, emotional dimension, and cognitive dimension. After obtaining the results data, we use SPSS18.0statistical software to analyze the data, and investigate MOOC attributes that influence on learners engagement and learning performance.The results show that:(1) MOOC autonomy, diversity and interaction have a positive effect on learning performance;(2) learner engagement in between MOOC attribute and learning performance will play a specific intermediary role. This study not only to promote MOOC learning theory, but it also has certain directive significance to MOOC practice development. For the course design and providers, can guide the course design to be more accordance with the needs of learners, reasonable design of learning evaluation standards, improve learning performance, guide learners to take the correct way of learning to improve learning performance, and also to have a certain role in promoting MOOC practice development.
