In the information age,Internet + is developing rapidly,and Internet technology has made profound progress in the education field.The market size and user scale of online education are growing rapidly,and the government,educational institutions and Internet companies are paying great attention to it.In this context,Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC)emerged.This Online education model enables a large number of learners to access rich educational resources without being restricted by time and place,promoting the opening and sharing of high-quality educational resources.MOOCs have been popularized all over the world.With the strong support of the Ministry of Education and many universities,China’s MOOC platforms have been launched successively,such as Chinese University MOOC,Xuetang online and i MOOC.At present,the number and scale of domestic MOOCs are considerable,with tens of millions of users registering for moocs.It can be seen from the data of relevant industry reports that the development of China’s MOOC industry has been very mature.While MOOCs bring great convenience and resource fairness,relevant academic studies have found that the completion rate of MOOC is very low,generally ranging from 5-10%.This problem has been troubling the builders and operators of MOOC platforms.The very low user retention rate will negatively affect the long-term development of MOOC,and the low stickiness of learners to MOOC will negatively affect the economic benefits of MOOC.Many scholars have conducted researches on the reasons for the low completion rate of MOOC from different angles.Some have studied the influence of factors such as learning motivation and learning involvement on learning results from the learner’s own characteristics;Others have carried out research from the objective aspects of the learning environment,teachers and platform technology support.It is found that previous studies have basically started from a single point of view,which provides a certain reference for this thesis to comprehensively consider the impact of learners’ learning environment,learners’ own characteristics and the interaction between them on MOOC learners’ continuous learning intention.There are differences between c MOOC and x MOOC.c MOOC put more emphasis on free,open and social autonomic learning,while x MOOC put more emphasis on the authority of teachers and homework tests,which may lead to differences between the two types of MOOC in the impact of the same factors on learners’ continuous learning intention.So this thesis builds a model framework based on Social Cognitive Theory(SCT),combining Constructivism Learning Theory(CLT),Social Capital Theory(SCT),the Social Support Theory(SST)and the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)related factors,select two of China’s famous MOOC as the research object,established by CLT,SCT,SST and TPB related factors as independent variables,MOOC learners’ continuous learning intention as the dependent variable.On this basis,the differences between c MOOC and x MOOC are compared to analyze the differences of models in different types of MOOC.This thesis collects data from two famous MOOC in China: i MOOC(c MOOC)and Chinese University MOOC(x MOOC).We mainly used questionnaire survey to collect data of MOOC users,totaling nearly 470 pieces of data.In addition,relevant web data are collected by using crawlers through the collected website addresses of the courses and individual MOOC pages of the respondents from the questionnaires.After that,this thesis uses SPSS software to conduct statistics and analysis on the data,and verified the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables.By processing and analyzing 469 data,we verify the research model of this paper.The research results in this paper prove that some factors in learning environment,learner characteristics and learner interaction have a significant impact on MOOC learners’ continuous learning intentions.It also proves that there are differences between c MOOC platforms and platforms in the influence of learning environment,learner characteristics and learner interaction factors on the continuous learning intentions.
