China’s economy has maintained a rapid and stable state, the growth in thebackground, along with the changes of population migration and population scale,population change affect the environment of the city and economic developmentpotential, so the study of population change and migration process, and study theinfluence factors of population migration it is important.Changchun is an important city in Northeast China, is an important base for theautomotive industry, film industry, cultural industry, is also an important part of themotorcycle industry and the animation industry, the future development ofChangchun depends on human resources, and the first to study the population ofChangchun city is formed by state and population migration.This article from the Changchun City metropolitan area population spatialdistribution problems, firstly, the spatial distribution of population in urban area ofChangchun City,on the evolution of the administrative division of Changchun citywere analyzed and discussed, and the use of statistical data to describe the distributionof population in Changchun City,and analyzes the regional economic development;secondly, make descriptive statistics analysis of the various regions of Changchuncity’s population change and change rate; thirdly, constructing a panel data model,factors of economic factors, environmental factors, the cost of living factors, factorsas the main factors of population change solution of release, and select6variables asexplanatory variables, to explain why the population change.The conclusion of the article is that Changchun city is still in the process ofurbanization,has yet to achieve radiation effect and diffusion effect in the development of Changchun City, first of all should continue to focus on thedevelopment of urbanization and economy.
