With the implementation of the western development policy, the social and economic development of Xinjiang has made a qualitative leap since 2000,but it can not be ignored that the economic differences are gradually emerging. At the moment when economic globalization is gradually developing in depth direction,Xinjiang has become the forward position of China's westward breakthrough. In addition to the "The Belt and Road" strategy to promote,Xinjiang,as a stronghold of China's economic development, has become more prominent.Under these circumstances, the expansion of economic disparity is not only detrimental to the steady and healthy development of Xinxiang's social and economy, more importantly, the expansion of local economic differences is likely to become an insurmountable barrier in China's macro-economic development strategy. Therefore,to study and solve the problem of economic disparity in Xinjiang is not only the basic demand for the further development of Xinxiang's development, but also the basic requirement for the effective implementation and promotion of the state's macro development strategy. The existing literatures have carried out a delicate and fruitful discussion on the economic disparity in Xinjiang;there are mainly industrial structure, market potential theory, and social structure theory and so on.Needless to say,the scholars' analysis of the economic differences in Xinjiang has laid a solid foundation for the study. However, based on the basic facts of Xinxiang's development and social evolution,we can not ignore that the spatial pattern of population has changed dramatically in the course of the evolution of the economic differences in Xinjiang. For example, the aging population in Northern Xinjiang has gradually deepened, and the urbanization rate of Xinjiang has gradually increased, but also to a bottleneck period, and so on.The change of the spatial pattern of population is associated with the evolution of economic differences. Is there a necessary link between them? How exactly is the connection? How can we break it? It is of great significance to study these problems.Review the existing literature on "population and economic differences",we can found that scholars divide the problem of population and economy into one part and analyze them, this approach is biased. In view of this,on the basis of summing up and sorting out the previous research results, descriptive analysis and empirical research are used as research methods, combined with the author's visit and research experience in relevant areas, the influence of Xinxiang's population spatial pattern on regional economic disparity is analyzed. We also seek the map of the causes of the economic differences in Xinjiang so as to provide a feasible and innovative approach to reduce the economic disparity in Xinjiang. The basic context of this article is that, first of all, defined relevant concepts and analyzing relevant theories, and analyzes the mechanism of the influence of population spatial pattern on regional economic disparities.Secondly,we discussed the current situation and characteristics of population spatial pattern inXinjiang. And on this basis,we studied the consistency between the spatial pattern of population and the regional economy in Xinjiang, and found that there is a serious inconsistency between Xinxiang's population and economic growth. Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the economic disparity in Xinjiang from the perspective of population spatial pattern.Thirdly, this paper analyzes the influence of Xinxiang's population spatial pattern on regional economic disparity by means of spatial econometric analysis. Finally,we depicted the concrete path of the influence of Xinxiang's population spatial pattern on economic differences, and put forward some suggestions combining full text analysis.Through descriptive analysis, the article draws some conclusions.First, population development in southern Xinjiang is accumulating energy;the future population of Southern Xinjiang may exceed Northern Xinjiang;but the basic pattern of population density is still difficult to break in a relatively short period of time.Second, the irrational mode of urbanization, making Xinjiang was already approaching the bottleneck of urbanization, and urgent need to change the way to promote urbanization.Third,in the context of relatively limited ethnic population activities, the Han population shows a certain tendency to move out.Fourth, while the number of children in southern Xinjiang increased, the Child rearing ratio has declined, the growth trend of children in Northern Xinjiang is weak, but the elderly dependency ratio has risen significantly.Fifth, the South Xinjiang contains a wealth of labor force, and the demographic dividend needs to be developed urgently.Sixth, the reasons for the economic disparity in Xinjiang are not confined to the economic level, and the mismatch between the population and the economy is also an important cause of economic differences.Through empirical analysis,we draw some conclusions.First, there is a "U" relationship between population size and economic disparity. However,it does not mean that local government can simply pursue the growth of population and reduce economic differences, because economic differences are also influenced by such factors as counterpart support, enterprise competitiveness and so on.Second, the spatial structure of Xinjiang can influence the economic disparity in Xinjiang by influencing export trade, consumption rate, local investment and technological innovation, but there are some differences in the specific influence paths.Third, the population migration can influence the economic difference of Xinjiang to a considerable extent, but the influence direction presents "m" type non directional situation;on the contrary, the influence of economic difference on population migration is relatively weak.Fourth, there is some spatial difference between population activity and economic difference in Xinjiang, and population activity has a certain effect on the economic disparity in Xinjiang, and so on.Based on the full text analysis and the author's related visits, research experience,we hold that,in order to narrow the economic disparity in Xinjiang and optimize the spatial pattern of population should to do the following. In the first place, stress the importance of learning, and that the relevant sections and civil society groups may try to build more libraries so as to increase access to knowledge.Effectively upgradethe school's hardware and software facilities to provide students with better, more modern learning environment and so on.In the second place, set up rules and maintain the operation of the basic rules of the market. The absence or difficult operation of the market rules makes the order of local economic development disordered. The implementation and compulsory maintenance of the basic rules can not only enhance the authority of the government, but also make the development consciousness of the market economy deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and strengthen the linkage and toughness of the economic development. In the third place, innovating government transfer payment, proper use of state finances.Excessive transfer payments and subsidies have become a “safe haven” for some groups to escape production;therefore, the government should raise and restrict the threshold of “safe haven”.Transfer payments should be more used in education, basic pension insurance and so on;this will effectively stimulate the demographic dividend.
