In twenty-first Century, the social development, need to have the spirit of innovation and exploration of the mathematics curriculum, with cultivating students’ innovative spirit and ability to explore the function of. Some junior middle school students mental development level, understand and study the function of knowledge is difficult, how to solve this problem, we think we can seek a breakthrough in teaching method, namely the use of situational teaching method in junior middle school function teaching.The use of literature research in the study, through literature research methods to understand the situational teaching method of domestic and foreign research status, future research trends, to analyze and sort out relevant literature, investigation method and case study, on the situational teaching method in junior high school mathematics teaching in the maneuverability and validity situational teaching method; learning achievement and influence function of learning situation of students; situational teaching method to research the problem of teachers influence function of knowledge.Study, application of situational teaching method can improve students’ interest of learning function, change the function of learning attitude, enhance students’ learning achievement, and improve the students’ learning achievement; can improve students’ learning initiative, cultivate students’ problem consciousness, promote the development of students’ cooperative communication ability; situational teaching method can change the teacher the concept of teaching, promote the innovation of teaching methods.
