As the quality education has achieved initial success, promoting quality educationcomprehensively has become the consensus of the educators in order to further deepen theeducational reform. In junior high school, the students’ psychological quality to improve thehealth education is the needs of the development of times as well as students’ physical andmental development needs and an important part of quality education.Based on the practice research on mental health education in Weifang No.3Middle Schoolin Shandong (hereinafter referred to as the Weifang No.3Middle School), my thesis sums upthe experience and find the problems. Furthermore, it analyzes the causes of problems andproposes the methods to solve the problems to further improve the effectiveness of mentalhealth education of the school. At the same time, the thesis enriches and makes the theory,strategy and method of middle school psychological health education perfect. It also providesthe theory and operation reference of mental health education for the same kind of school.This thesis defines the topic background, the significance of the study, several basicconcepts as well as the research objectives, contents and methods. It discourses from twoaspects. On the one hand, it summarizes the present status of psychological health educationat home and abroad through the method of literature research. On the other hand, after theresearch and practice of mental health education in Weifang No.3Middle School, itintroduces the development history, the status and effect of the psychological health educationof the school implementation etc.. During the practical research at this school, I mastered amass of first-hand data through long-term observation and questionnaire survey. I interviewedthe representative of the school leaders, teachers, students and parents as well to provide thebasis for the analysis and methods of the problem.Then, I found the problems existing in the education of mental health at this school. Thegoal orientation of mental health education has a deviation from the correct target. The teamconstruction of mental health education teachers cannot meet the realistic need of students.Mental health education can’t roll out in-depth. There are so many causes of theabove-mentioned problems. It is lack of the administrative departments’necessary supervisionon the education of psychological health education of the school. The teachers can’t bewell-trained. The teachers’ healthy development affects the mental health level of students’ psychology. Social and family cannot effectively cooperate with the school mental healtheducation. I put forward the methods to strengthen the psychological health education injunior middle school in the new situation. Education administrative department muststrengthen the lead junior high school mental health education; Schools should carry out thejunior high school mental health education. Mental health education ought to focus onsomething; we should Integrate the mental health education of various resources.At the end, the thesis makes a conclusion about the study and put forward the questions forfurther consideration and study of the problem to carry on further study for researchers.
