Since reform and opening-up, education in China has made great progress. Thenine-year compulsory education had basically become universal and the vocationaleducation obtained the fast development. The high-school education has gradually spreadand the higher education has been popularized. Under the realistic background that thepopularization of higher education and high school education has become reality whileordinary high school education and vocational education in Senior high school arerelatively separated, then the common high school education plays a main role inentrance of higher education. However, it does not do well in this role and bringsserious dislocation. These dislocations in education practice and teaching activities showas follows: the single education model of entering for higher education that aims at elitesis dislocated with the education model that should be responsible for the masses. Thisleads to some students be ignored and indulged and their loss of motivation and interestfor study, the increase loss of students and the decrease of high school education in therural area. At the same time, because of the market factors, the intense competition forCollege Entrance Examination drives schools into the edge of despair and most highschools in the the rural area are in struggling situations.Facing such difficulties,as a rural senior high school,the Sanlifan High School inLuotian County of Hubei Province in Dabie Mountain Area, with the leading of thePresident, bravely explores a model of regression to the origin of education. Under thebackground of the diversification development of common high schools and based on thedetailed investigation of the school, this paper gives a careful teasing on the reform ofthe background, process, measures and achievements, and the problems anddifficulties. The aim is to explore the suitable model of education for the school andstudents and to disclose the specific significance and value of the regression to the originof education,to provide a reference and practice base for other common high schools,and to give some guidance and to set an example for the schools in the less developingcountryside, especially the middle and the west in China. In order to make it authentic, scientific and accurate, the author will do a quantitative and qualitative research in theform of questionnaire, panel discussion, interview, etc.
