The mathematics teaching in secondary vocational school are always inefficient, so it is a urgent problem to improve the effectiveness of mathematics classroom teaching in secondary vocational school. This paper analyzes the present situation of mathematics classroom teaching from the perspective on effectiveness. There are three main aspects:the effect of mathematics teaching is not good, neither can the teacher can achieve desired goals, nor the student can obtain the corresponding emotional experience; Mathematics efficiency is not enough, what the students master in unit time is too little, and it spend too much time in mastering the established mathematical knowledge; Mathematics teaching efficiency, not only long-term but also the current benefit is not clear. Aiming at present situation,this paper analyze the cause of the lack in mathematics classroom teaching effectiveness, from the perspective of the status and content of subject:subject status is lower; the subject content and professional are not close unions; From the students’ learning attitude and basis:we can find students’ enthusiasm in math learning is not high, and their mathematical foundation and practical ability is limited; From the perspective of the quality of teachers, teachers’ professional quality is low, the teaching ability in teaching efficiency is less, and the effect is unknown. Propose the strategies on how to improve the effectiveness of mathematics classroom teaching fr om three aspects by analyzing causes. Firstly, improving the status of this subject, the detailed steps are attaching importance in mentally and protecting math subject in policy mathematics so as to improve the status of subject in vocational school; Adjusting and choosing the teaching contents reasonably, dealing with the relationship between mathematics teaching and professional skill teaching sensibly so as to improve the subject influence in students’ mind set; Secondly, we should improve the students’ interest in learning, to grasp the overall structure and catch the key and difficult point and know the students’ learning habits and methods by adapting the students’ mathematics knowledge structure in junior middle school, and we should strengthen students’ mathematical foundation and build students’ self-confidence; We should create a happy classroom atmosphere and a harmonious relationship between teachers and students and good external surroundings. Make the students to achieve successful experience by focusing on the learning process; Finally, We should improve teacher’s professional accomplishment and teaching ability and enhance their psychological quality to improve the quality of teachers.
