Educational game is both a technology and an art. It’s a soft used to creates theenvironment of learning. Using such technology, the players can feel the development of areal event through virtual scenarios and study the knowledge and skills better. However,the educational games in China do not achieve the goal of studying with pleasure andremedying Internet addiction for now. The research indicates that the factor that influencesthe players most is the scenes especially in the case of school-age children’s participationand selection of educational games. And the scene design is important for the structure ofthe game world, the game style and atmosphere rendering. In addition, there are very fewstudies of scene design of educational games so far in China. Therefore, this researchstudy the scene design of educational games in depth.Focusing on the disadvantage of present educational games, the paper will do aliterature review at first to find out the starting point from the current situation. Then, onthe basis of Theory of Game, Flow Theory and Fundamental Theory of Deign, we willsummarize the basic principles of game scene design: educational, entertaining, interactive,creative and so on. The detail about design process will be followed including analysisdesign and implementation. This essay choose two chapters in primary school sciencecurriculum–‘Movement of the Earth’ and ‘the Universe’ as the case of implementation ofthe specific content, and build the frame of the game scene for ‘Stars Move’ by usingseveral computer programmes such as3ds Max and Maya. For future research, weevaluate this game from the interview with the students and experts.The paper will be a significance reference for the researchers who design andimplement the educational games’ scene in teaching.
