The focal point of new curriculum emphasizes that quality education is people-oriented and is to apply theory to reality.The application of Suggestive Teaching Method, whose achievement happens to coincide with the goal of the current Chinese education, is required in the present age. The reason is that with the needs of elementary education curriculum reform, the simplifying and application of Suggestive Teaching Method is essential for creating the biological method which is high sufficiency and suits the actual condition of China. Combined with biological education in our school, the object of this method is to promote the development of students, to form a democratic and equal relationship between teachers and students, to stimulate students’ potential of learning biology. Besides that, this research is helpful to promote the interpersonal relationships between teachers and students.However, in order to testify the functions of this method, we divided the samples of all students into two groups. Those students are at similar level in study. By using the tool of statistics software SPPSS17.0, we analyzed questionnaire surveys and two examination results respectively collected before and after Suggestive Teaching Method applied. The result itself indicates that Suggestive Teaching Method has some positive effects on improving students’ achievements and enhancing their spiritual outlook. Finally, we summarize the advantages and disadvantages of Suggestive Teaching Method applied in biological teaching of high school. With the experience and lessons of Suggestive Teaching Method, we hope to provide a helpful assistance for further research in the application of Suggestive Teaching method and for resolving the contradictions in elementary education.
