A Research On Teacher Performance Evaluation System And Application For Basic Education

With the continuous progress of education informatization, profound changes have taken place in the education reform. Teacher professional development is a core component of education reform. In order to promote the development of teachers and cultivate a group of teacher’s team which high ideological level and ability, it is necessary to establish a set of fairness, justice and publicity teacher performance evaluation system to arouse the enthusiasm of teachers’self-development in basic education. Therefore it is need to deepen the reform of the teacher evaluation, establish a scientific and reasonable teacher performance evaluation system, take advantage of modern information technology to build teacher performance evaluation system based on information technology, which apply to the evaluation of primary and secondary school teachers for information recording and data analysing. In this way, there is helpful to improve teacher performance levels and promote scientific decision-making, and enhance the quality of teaching, finally form the common development of students, teachers and school.In order to achieve the goal of developing teacher evaluation system, after studying the basis of the research on the related literature at home and abroad. Based on the investigation of the current situation of performance evaluation of teachers in Fujian province, understanding the current situation and the problems, the research has raised360°feedback evaluation method combining KPI evaluation, and put forward Delphi method to construct a theoretical framework for the evaluation of system development. Based on user analysis, requirement analysis, function design and database design steps, realizing the teacher performance evaluation system with asp.net technology. After the system test, it has applied successful of the actual evaluation of the school. Through the application of teacher performance evaluation system, a lot of data were collected for statistical analysis, constructing the decision model of evaluation based on data driven, so as to provide scientific basis for teacher development and school decision making. Research shows that, application of informatization evaluation can help teachers to participate in evaluation and self-development, it is an effect method to promote teachers’ evaluation fair and improve teaching level, effectively promote the development of education science.
