This article uses the literature material method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and other research methods. The investigation objects of this topic are based on the experts and cheerleading teachers of the41colleges and universites in Fujian province. In the article,the author has a comprehensive research and analysis on the professional theory knowledge and professional technical ability, teaching ability and qualit of the cheerleading teachers, in order to explore the main factors that influence colleges cheerleading teachers’professional quality, to find out the existing problems and put forward the corresponding countermeasures, and also to provide the reference basis for the cultivation of cheerleading teachers in Fujian province.The results shows that:1. Cheerleading in the colleges and universities of Fujian provincein has developed rapidly in recent years.With the significant incresing of the sports level, most universities have put cheerleading as the school sports curriculum or as auxiliary in aerobics teaching content. But the professional quality of cheerleading teachers in the colleges are unable to meet the demand of contemporary college students. Therefore, improving the cheerleading teachers’teaching level is imminent.2. The cheerleading is an emerging modern sport after aerobics exercise, which is on the booming trend in the colleges and universites of Fujian province. For example, the major sports events in the project of Fujian province add cheerleading,and colleges and universities are also actively involved in. In this context, the professional quality requirements of cheerleading teachers are becoming more and more high, so the need to improve the professional quality of cheerleading teachers appears more important. The professional quality of cheerleading teachers includes the following aspects:professional knowledge quality, professional and technical quality, sports training quality, professional quality, scientific quality, etc.3. The cheerleading teachers in the colleges and universities of Fujian province are mostly women. The proportion of men and women is not reasonable. As for the age structurea, it is more reasonable, mainly middle-aged. In terms of the structure of degree, they mainly hold a master’s degree, the whole education level is high, but the number of the cheerleading teachers with high title is low,and the year they engage in is relatively short.4. Most cheerleading teachers have the experience of leading a team to contest, but but less experience acting as the referee. The referee and coaches grade level is low.5. Cheerleading teachers have strong professional dedication, but large difference in the professional knowledge, professional spirit, and teaching ability. The cheerleading teacher’s professional knowledge refers to the project of related specialized knowledge, which is the basic condition of teachers’ teaching task. Howerver, their original major are mainly aerobics, so in the terms of cheerleading professional knowledge, they don’t have enough comprehensive basic theory.The teaching ability and action programs, sports teams training ability is not strong. All needs to improve through continuous learning.6.Cheerleading teacher is good in the area of scientific research, in nearly five years,the number that published five papers accountes for41.5%, and the number that declares1-3subjects accountes for65.9%. But in the scientific research motivation, the main goal of most of the teachers are professional evaluation.7. On the way of learning professional knowledge, most teachers further study after working, and learn by watching video game and data of cheeringleading exercise te(?) resources home and abroad. Their study enthusiasm is higher, but because the school leaders attach insufficient importance to the cheerleading movement and cheerleading teachers, the funding to support teachers’ participation in training is rare.Therefore, the opportunites to participate in training after working are relatively less.8. The longest period of teaching cheerleading in the colleges and universities of Fujian province is14years, while the shortest period is1year. The number of cheerleading teachers still can not meet the needs of the current school teaching. The professional cheerleading teachers are relatively short ofBased on the above findings, this paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions to strengthen the construction of cheerleading teachers: 1, the school leaders need to update the concept and strengthen the incentive mechanism2, To strengthen teachers in further education and improve teachers’ professional quality3, the school need to hold games at fixed period and improve the practice ability of referees...
