Research On The Development And Construction Of Cheerleading Star Clubs In Colleges And Universities Of Fujian Province

Cheerleading is a new sports project which integrates dance,gymnastics,skills and other sports characteristics.It is sweeping across the campus of primary and secondary schools in full swing,and it is rapidly promoted and popularized in institutions,enterprises and communities.Cheerleading takes the cultivation of "four good" athletes(i.e.good moral character,good learning,good temperament and good technology)as its own duty,takes team culture as its core,and cultivates excellent talents for all-round development of the society,which has aroused the keen attention of the society.In 2015,the State General Administration of sports launched a star cheerleading club,which further promoted the standardization process and rapid development of cheerleading.However,the club construction has been in an unbalanced situation,which needs to be investigated and analyzed to find out the problems in the process of construction in order to better develop.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,this paper takes the development and construction of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province as the research object,and selects 11 approved cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province as the research object.According to the national standard for the construction of Cheerleading star clubs,this paper makes a detailed investigation and Analysis on the construction path of Cheerleading star clubs,summarizes the construction status of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities in Fujian Province,explores the existing problems in the development process and puts forward corresponding optimization strategies.The purpose is to provide a theoretical reference for the further development and improvement of the cheerleading Star Club in Fujian Province.The results show that:1、 The Star Club of Cheerleading in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province started earlier and developed faster.At present,11 Ordinary University Cheerleading star clubs have been awarded,including 2 five-star clubs,1 four-star club,4 three-star clubs,2 two-star clubs and 2 one-star clubs.The main department affiliated to the club is the sports department;some schools have set up independent organizations.2、 The work plan of Cheerleading Star Club in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province is not concrete and perfect.Although the club has made work plans,there are great differences in the way of planning.Only Fujian Jiangxia University and Xiamen Institute of technology have long-term development plans.Some colleges and universities have made annual work plans,while most school club teaching and training plans have replaced specific work plans.3 、 The teaching staff of Cheerleading Star Club in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province presents "four high and three reasonable".That is to say,the education level of teachers is generally high,the level of coaches and judges is generally high,the level of training is high,the number of cheerleaders is multi-level high,the title structure is reasonable,the gender structure is reasonable(50% of male and female teachers respectively)and the age structure(tends to be younger)is reasonable,and the qualification of teachers is significantly improved.But the number of club teachers is obviously insufficient.4、 The special fund of Cheerleading Star Club in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province is insufficient.The source of funds mainly depends on school appropriation,the channel is single,and the form and quantity of appropriation are quite different.Schools without special funds are obviously short of funds,which can not meet the needs of the current development and construction of Cheerleading star club activities.5、 The supporting facilities of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province are not perfect.Venue facilities are not only the basic conditions for the construction of Cheerleading star clubs,but also the guarantee for teaching and training.At present,all star clubs can meet the needs of basic teaching and training.In the aspect of special equipment and facilities supporting construction,there are great differences among clubs.Xiamen Institute of technology is the perfect one,and Fujian Normal University Union College is the perfect one.The equipment supporting construction of other university clubs is not comprehensive enough,which greatly limits the development of Cheerleading star club.6、 There is a lack of diversity in the activities of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities in Fujian Province.At present,sports teams have been set up in various clubs,and the main projects are ball cheerleading,hip-hop cheerleading,skill cheerleading and jazz cheerleading.The main forms of activities are sports teams and interest classes,but the activities are relatively single.7、 In Fujian Province,the number of registered cheerleaders and the number of qualified cheerleaders in the star club are insufficient.First,there are few registered schools and insufficient athletes;second,there are fewer students to participate in the standard,which are obviously not up to the standard.At present,only six colleges and universities have the number of registered athletes who meet the star level requirements of the club.Only Fuzhou foreign trade college and Fujian Normal University organize students to participate in cheerleading activities.There are big deficiencies in other colleges and universities’ registration and number of qualified athletes,which need to be improved.8、 The cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities of Fujian Province have high level of participation and meet the construction requirements,but the number of entries is uneven.Fujian Normal University,Xiamen University of science and technology,Fujian Jiangxia University,Fuzhou Institute of foreign languages and foreign trade and Fuqing Branch of Fujian Normal University have participated in high-level competitions at home and abroad,with more times.But there are still some university clubs in the level of participation,the number of participation and other aspects need to increase efforts to further improve the construction requirements.9、 There are 6 self-evaluation items for the construction of Cheerleading star clubs in Fujian universities,each item has 10 points,with a full score of 60.The highest self-evaluation score is between 52-58 points from Xiamen Institute of technology,followed by 36-42 points from Fuzhou Institute of foreign studies,and the other schools have not reached 40 points.From the perspective of self-evaluation results of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities,there are differences in each score among the clubs,among which the difference in scores of teachers’ equipment and venue equipment is the largest.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the development and construction of Cheerleading star clubs in Colleges and universities in Fujian
