Because of the long cycle, big intensity, relative training seal and the lowly socializeddegree, it is difficult for aquatic sports athlete to spend much time in improving cultural qualityand social work skill. Along with the socialist market economic system’s unceasingconsummation, the entire social environment’s employment form is all the more stern. It isdifficult for athlete to get a job. Therefore, it is very important to research the job placementsituation about retired athletes, through which to put forward the feasible proposal for theathletes.The paper takes the retired athletes, service athletes and administrative workers of Fujianprovince of aquatic sports administrative center as research objects. The authors have analyzedthe employment by means of a set of scientific methods including literature consultation,questionnaire, expert consultation, comparative and separate analysis. Through combined thesuggestions about administrative workers, comparing the intention to the service athletes, theauthor put forward the suggestions to improve the current situation about job placement, whichshould provide theoretical support and reference empirical. Through research, the author drawsthe conclusion as follows:(1) From2005to2011, the job placement of retired athletes is expedite, but the domain isstricture and job channel is singleness, although acquired bachelor diploma, the retired athletesengage in some job that the request is very high like teacher an so on. Moreover, professionalmanager is the principal means for job.(2) Service athletes have not transformed the employment idea completely, and rely on thepolicy-type placement method excessively. Service athletes take limit time in the vocational skilltraining, most of the service athlete display loses, at a loss and have not completed the fullpreparation after retiring.(3) The optimal method to resolve the job placement is not only to depend continues toenlarge the auxiliary policy support, but also deepen the vocational skill training education, encourages the athletes carry on vocational skill training in service period, change the idea of getemployed. Through the undertaking fund’s support, encourages athletes to start employment,expands the job placement channel positively and establish the professional profession planconsciousness.
