The Current Employment Situation And Countermeasure Research On Chinese Retired Athletes Of Aquatic Olympic Sports

Based on the resettle policy and sociological festures in every province, this text beginning with the current situation of retired athletes on Olympic projects above water in every provinces of China, is to analysis the main issues and causes of the employment of the retired athletes, completely, and to propose some countemeasures for improvement of the situation, by using the methods of literature reviews, questionnaire investigation, expert interviews, mathematical statistic, comparative analysis, etc. It provides experience references and theoretical basis for employment of the retired athletes from Olympic projects above water and other lower socialized projects.It holds that, in recent years, the number of retired athletes on Olympic projects above water in China, who enjoy the resettle policy, is increasing year by year, with the resettle speriod prolonging continuously. It is difficult for retired athletes to choose job autonomously. And few of them receive further education, especially for the female athletes. In the whole, the current situation of retired athletes on Olympic projects above water is not optimistic. The difficulties of employment lie in the following facts: at first, the degree of socialization is low; sencondly, the comprehensive quality of retired athletes is limited; then, the condition of individual engagement for retired athletes is not enough; last but not the least, the vocational skills and obtaining employment service of most retired athletes are obviously deficiency, due to a variety of causes that they are lack of further education.It suggested that the ideas should change more, to enlarge the range of autonomous occupational selection and eliminate the dependent mentality left over the period of planned economy; the reposibility awareness of sport administration managements should be definited, to strengthen the cultural education during the service period, by using the compulsive means, and to build a new style that colleges and universities run high level sports teams, according to the development of trend; It is to provide more guarantee of althetes'further education, that improving standards of maintenance grant and prolonging review duration; the entrance threshold should be decreased to ensure more retired athletes receive further education;The training of vocational skills should be effective, to realize the obtaining employment after training directly; the employment guiding and service department should be set up, specially, to establish the platform of communication with retired athletes in a long time to help them effectively establish sports business entity or engage in individual operation.
