Research On The Status Quo And Improvement Measures Of Retired Athletes In Sichuan Province

As the key point and one of the most difficult points of the competitive sports field which runs in the “whole nation system” of China,the issue of retired athletes' job replacement receives lots of concerns both from the government and the society.It's not only closely relates to the sustainable development of the country's competitive sport industry,but also to the athlete's personal prospects and development and the social harmony and stability.After many years of practice,a whole set of policies and methods are explored.These methods have achieved some success,but have not been able to solve the problem such as the general poor situation of athletes' cultural quality,social adaptability,re-employment ability.How to make up for this deficiency,make the development of our competitive sports cause and the prospects and live standard of the retired athletes get a better improvement,has a very important practical significance.This paper use the research method such as literature data,interviews,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,focus on the practice of Sichuan province,to investigate and study on the evolution and current situation of the placement policy of the retired athletes in our country,the problems of the various policies in the process of its implementation.This paper has five parts.The first part mainly introduces the value and significance of research.The second part mainly focuses on the concept of certain important words about the research and the policies of helping the replacement of retired athletes both of the country and the Sichuan province,then analyze the study status both in the country and aboard.The third part introduces the research object and methods.The fourth part presents the analyze result and discusses the present situation of the retired athletes' placement of the Sichuan province.The fifth part gives responses to improve the placement policy.The sixth part makes a conclusion of the research result and analyze achievements.Based on investigation and analysis,this research points out problems dug out of the of retired athletes' placement,such as system dilemma,the defect of the control mechanism in the athletes' employment,the small capacity in the competitive system for the replacement of retired athlete,the defect of the disposable economic compensation policy,and the insufficient capacity for the training institution to carry the education of the athletes,and so on.This paper give some responses to solve the above problems,such as to strengthen the construction of institutions and to improve the institutions' functional layout,create a better system to control the employment ofthe athletes,develop the potential of replace the retired athletes in the government organs,to speed up the combination of physical education and competitive sports,speed up the process of transforming the professional training institution into colleges and universities.
