With the development of market economy and the mounting need of innovativetalents in China, vocational colleges play an essential role if there can be an effectiveeducational system which conduces nurturing students with high vocational skills tomeet the needs of corporations. Plenteous numbers of studies prove that the best way tofoster vocational students with practical skills is to cooperate with those corporations.Based on former studies, experiments are practiced on the vocational students ofthe City Vocational College Jiangsu (Wuxi), focusing on the influence ofcollege-corporation collocation on students’ competitive working ability in work fields.Astrategy was lodged from altitudes of government, colleges, corporations and students,aiming at radically arming vocational students with agreeable skills.The study is done with the skills of literature review, questionnaires, interviews,and empirical study. It contains five chapters:Chapter One: Introduction of the background, the meaning of this subject, methods,content, innovation and difficulties of the study.Chapter Two: Give definition and relative theories of the competitive workingability of the vocational students influenced by college-corporation collocation.Chapter Three: Analyze the influence of college-corporation collocation on thecompetitive working ability of the vocational students. Point out the advantages anddisadvantages, and analyze the causes.Chapter Four: Based on the current situation of the students’competitive workingability in the City Vocational College Jiangsu (Wuxi), and the empirical study on the materials of the questionnaires and interviews, figure out the problems and analyze thecauses.Chapter Five: Put forward effective strategies to improve the students’ competitiveworking ability influence by the college-corporation collocation.To sum up, the aim of the thesis is to make college-corporation collocationconducive, on the basis of which, vocational colleges are able to practice pragmaticeducation helping produce professional labor force. Only by improving the syntheticskills of vocational students can it be possible to relieve the problems on structuringlabor force market, and to instill China a healthy environment of employment.
