The coming-up of cloud computing technology has improved data processingcapabilities, reduced the requirements for terminal equipment and created a new era ofcomputer networks. The application of virtual reality teaching products has surpassed thepresentation of traditional teaching content and achieved a three-dimensional interactivedisplay and operation. The use of virtual reality technology in teaching experiments candeduce some bad effect. The combination of these two can save the cost of teaching andpromote the learners enjoying learning. Moreover, it helps to improve learners’ subjectivity,learners’ manipulative ability, creativity and learning efficiency. This study’s success willbreak the limits of the teaching goals, classroom and textbooks resources.First, the author analyzes the characteristics of cloud computing platform, introducingEucalyptus-based cloud computing platform available to the study site. Second, analyzes theneeds of learners learning content to lucubrate relevant learning theories’ guidance to thevirtual environments framework, and determine the overall structure and function of the site.Third, completes interactive setting system framework scheme in3Ds max modeling andvirtools by a specific case. Fourth, concentrats the above research work, applingdreamweaver proscenium development tools, php programming language, Apache Webserver and mysql database to finish the construct work of virtual reality experiment teachingsites, and tests run the sites in the site environment of cloud computing platform. Finally,questionnaires to evaluate the site by using.After analyzing extensive literatures and teaching theories, it is theoretically feasible to applythe combined virtual reality technology and cloud computing technologies to the educationarea. Moreover, by author’s attempting to complete the integrated cloud computing platformbased on virtual reality level teaching system design and architecture site, it is technicallydemonstrated the feasibility of combination. Finally, the evaluation of the website shows thatthe combination will take advantage of each element: the improvement of rapid of the website and the improvement of study motivation of learners. The research shows that thewebsite runs well and sets foundation for applying the website to learning on-line.
