With the development of the society and the arrival of information era, theideological and political education meets with new problems and challenges. Redresources are the active exploration to reply the challenges for the ideological andpolitical education under the new situation, and also are the best education resourcesto carry out the work of ideological and political education. Red resources are theprecious spiritual wealth,which is formed by the Chinese people of all ethnic groupsunder the leadership of the communist party of China in the period of the Chineserevolution and socialist construction, and the period of China’s reform and openingup, its effective use in college students’ ideological and political education plays animportant value and unique advantage, and to cultivate college students’ partypatriotic society’s true feelings and the arduous struggle, thrift of good style andaggressive innovation provides vivid who dares the content of the material, tostrengthen the red resources in the application of ideological and political educationhas important theoretical significance and practical significance.The methods of literature research and system analysis are used in this paper.From the view of the red resources scientific connotation and significance of redresources in ideological and political education, through the analysis of the current redresources in the application status of ideological and political education, must beachieved, and proposed the red resources in the utilization of the ideological andpolitical education, analysis of the causes of the deficiencies and on this basis, furtherdemonstrates how to enhance the red resources in ideological and political educationapplication effectiveness research, in order to strengthen and improve current collegestudents’ ideological and political education work.This article is composed of five parts. The first part is the introduction, first of all,this article introduces the selected topic basis,and sum up the background andsignificance of the selected topic in detail, then summarizes the research achievementsthat has been obtained by some scholars in this field, and the research ideas andresearch methods of this article are summarized, finally point out the researchdifficulties and research innovation point of this topic; The second part is somethingabout the red resources, first of all, the thesis gives a clear definition of the concept ofthe red resources and points out that the author agrees to professor xiao’s views, then the content of the red resources is introduced from four aspects:the ideal and faith,thespirit of patriotism, moral character, innovation;Secondly, the thesis points out thedistinctive features of the red resources from four aspects: the rich diversity, historicalinheritance and learning, advancing with The Times.Finally, the author demonstratesthe red resources and the advantage of the ideological and political education forcollege students from the following three aspects the value objective, educationcontent, education actual effect,which provides a rich theoretical basis for theresearch of this topic; The third part is the application status of red resources inideological and political education. Review and summarize the current situation ofutilization by means of literature,and system analysis, points out that the accumulationof experience, and states the deficiency existed in the practice, and analyzes thereasons of lack of effectiveness of the red resources in practical use; Fourth part is thered resources in ideological and political education application effectiveness inascension, this part is based on the analysis of the situation, from the view of adheringto the system of socialist core values guide, promoting connotation, strengthening theresearch and development, improving the form and the mechanism of five aspects toput forward suggestions, in order to use the application of red resources better,and tocarry out the ideological and political education work effectively; Finally theconclusion of this article has carried on the generalization and summarization of thesimple, once again points out the importance of the red resources in the ideologicaland political education in colleges and universities, and points out that this paper havecertain reference and insufficiency.
