An Investigation Of The Current Situation Of Volleyball Course And Extracurricular Activities In Senior High School In Chaoyang District,Beijing

School physical education is the foundation or citizen’ s entertaining fitness. School, which is an intrortant platform for teenagers, has a crucial impact on their growth. Especilly the senior high sctrools emphasize more on devoloping students’ lifelong thoughts of physical education. Volleyball is a kind of easily-held entertaining group project which is capable to improve the comprehensive physical quality of teenagers. In recent years, with the country’s reform and development of school sports continue to advance the status of sport in the school’s discipline has improved, but the development of volleyball in schools has stagnated.This research paper finds the rules and gaps through observing the present situation of the state and features of volleyball development among Chinese middle schools on the basis of and in-depth investigation on school physical education’ s theory and current situation, applying the methods of literatuie, interviews, questionnaires, and mathematical statistics. This research paper studies deeply on the volleyball development present situation in senior high schools in chaoyang district, Beijing. The results of studies show that:Ⅰ. Although the PE teachers in chanyang district of Beijing have good basic qualities, teachers who major in volleyball are still in a low proportion. Problems lie in the lack of professional tenching staff, the lack of chances for teachers who are not majored in volleyball to participate in training. Lpmitations that still extis in teacher’s renewing of the class design and teaching methods cannot meet the students’ demands.Ⅱ. Although the vollcyhall courts in most senior high schools in chaoyang district of Beijing almost satisfy the needs of teaching and extracurricular sports activities, the courts and the equipmenis arc lack of maintenance. Some equipments combined with the professional sport field are seriously damaged hecauso of the inappropriate usage and poor fixing. Ⅲ.Since volleyball items are ignored by the physical educatio assessment fr graduate who graduared from middle schools(including jumor and senior high schools)in chaoyang district of Beijing,it is quite difficult to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers and cause the school’s attention.What’s more,the fact that students’ volleyball basis in junior high schools are uneven also in turn affects the teaching of senior high schools.Ⅳ. It is a fact that playing volleyball is difficult to be developed in extracurricular sport activities among senior high schools in chaoyang district of Beijing.There is no place for volleyball events or matches in school physical activities. The fewer chances of training school volleyball teams and poorer environment for playing volleyball still exist in volleyball teaching in senior high schools in chaoyang district of Beijing...
