The socialist new countryside building put forward higher request for the comprehensive quality of rural women, but at present, He Yuan City rural women’s science and technology culture level is not high, management and operation ability is low, democratic legal consciousness is few, which don’t comply with the requirements of the new rural construction. Nan Yang City, a large agricultural city, too many rural women resulted in too many rural surplus labor force, which has brought serious impact to production and living of rural societies. To address these problems, the key is to energetically strengthen vocational education of rural women and to promote their comprehensive quality. But by contrast, in reality the demand for vocational education of rural women is insufficient.This paper, targeted the rural women in He Yuan, analyses the demand problem of its rural vocational education. The research idea is as followed; firstly, the paper defines relative concepts, and points out the research importance through rural vocational education theories, which is the theoretical foundation of the paper. Secondly, the paper describes the status quo of Nan Yang rural vocational education and the demand situation of its rural women, which is the practical foundation of the paper. Thirdly, based on the previous analysis, the paper analyses the influencing factors of insufficiency of demand for the vocational education of rural women through various angles saying farmers, vocational education institutions, government and society. At last, the paper proposes relevant suggestions and recommendations.The major conclusions of the paper includes:(1) the demand for vocational education of rural women in He Yuan has primarily behaved inadequate effective demand;(2) As for farmers, the significantly effecting factors of demand for vocational education of rural women include education level, traditional notion, employment vision, total income for household, perception of rural vocational education, which are positively effected;(3) As for societies, the restraining factors of demand for vocational education primarily include the inadequate support of government, the inadequate attention from leaders of subordinate departments, the unreasonable organization of relevant faculties, the restraining of relevant institutions and policies, the insufficiency of rural vocational education laws and regulations, the hampering of rural dual economy;(4) As for education faculties, the restraining factors of demand for vocational education primarily include the backward notion of educational institutions, the unsound education and training system, the unreasonable contents and disciplines of education and training, the imbalance of theoretical education and practical training;(4) The major policies and methods to promote the development of rural vocational education in Nan Yang include strengthening policy support, optimization and combination of educational resources, expanding investment channels, building and perfection of law and regulation system, transforming the guideline of rural vocational education, strengthening construction of faculties, improving the comprehensive quality of teachers, changing the original notion of, improving the employment vision, strengthening publicity of rural vocational education.
