An Investigation In The Living Conditions Of Older Women In Rural Areas In Changfeng County

The triple disadvantaged characteristics of age, gender and geographical weaken the status of marginal groups of older women in rural areas, the friability of natural support system and unsound of the social security system lead the demand dilemma.Through the investigation,the older women incline to different behavior,including refusion,stagnation, independence and conservation.Accordingly, the older women need healthy living,capability promotion,emotional comfort,cultural identity successful aging.Through clearing the demand positioning, fusing Indirect and direct methods of social work,taking realistic and moderate advanced institutional arrangements, exploring the social work intervention strategies,a service system of older women in rural areas in line with China’s national conditions will build,which enhance self capacity and realize successful aging of rural elderly women.
