Southwest Of Rural Women Of Child-bearing Concept Changes

The population problem is very important in the process of social development. It affects the effective and coordinative development of economy, culture and the whole society. And a close attention is being paid to the child-bearing problem, which can affect the structure of population.The child-bearing problem is mainly about people's bearing behavior and bearing viewpoint. The child-bearing viewpoint is people's attitude and perspective about bearing. It inducts people's bearing behavior. To study the subject can help to understand different persons' bearing behaviors. As the carrier of bearing, women's bearing viewpoint is can not be ignorant. As the modernist culture and ideology surges in cities, the child-bearing viewpoints of urban women are always very new. However, because of the different level of development, child-bearing viewpoints of rural women are various. Some have the modern child-bearing viewpoints, while the others still have the traditional child-bearing viewpoints. The researches on the child-bearing viewpoints of rural women will help to understand the culture evolution in rural areas and the progress of women's quality.The article is based on a survey research in three different rural communities of Kai Yuan Yunnan Province. With the social role theory, the article analyzes the relationship between rural women's family role and their child-bearing viewpoints from the microcosmic aspect. The survey conveys that the traditional rural women's family role which is focus on child-bearing has varied, meanwhile their child-bearing viewpoints has changed. The rural women with modern child-bearing viewpoints have more authorities on bearing which indicates their own will. Therefore, the restraints on their family role decrease. And their family role is becoming more variable. In short, the women's child-bearing viewpoints and their family role work in coordination, they support each other mutually. Otherwise, there are also some external restraints from the social circumstance and some policies, such as the different family patterns, the policy of population controlling and the rural old-age insurance. They restrict the rural women's family role and affect their child-bearing viewpoints indirectly. As a result, these women get into the dilemma of how to play their family role and what kinds of child-bearing viewpoints should they have. How to dissolve this perplex is a complicated and a long process. The government will not succeed if only to stipulate a standard quota.The study analyzed factors which affect the relationship between the rural women's family role and their child-bearing viewpoints. It indicates that the development of harmonious relationship depends not only on the evolution of social cultural circumstance, but also on the progress of rural women's thoughts and the adjustment of concerning policies. For example, establish the rural community education, perfect the rural community nursery constitution to assist socialization of the only children, and develop effective rural old-age insurance and variable kinds of insurance. What is important is to take different measures in different rural areas.
